Handy Sized Bone Flute

Reproduction of a Bone Flute with Mouth Hole & 3 Note Holes.

– Handmade from cow bone and sealed at one end by a bone plate.
– The 3 note holes enable the player to achieve up to 6 notes with varying amounts of covering and breathing.
– A great piece to introduce you to ancient musical instruments!
– Lengths are approx – 14 – 15cm (5.5 – 6 inch).
– Weight approx – 80 – 110g (2.8 – 3.9oz).
– Not Viking age, as these types of bone flutes with top blow holes were used much later, but a great little piece to learn on.
